Located in the very heart of Brčko, at 6 Trg mladih, the Tourist Organization of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina was established by a decision of the Government of the Brčko District of BiH with the mission of recognizing, developing and promoting the rich tourism potential of this unique area. Thanks to its exceptionally favourable geographical location, pleasant climate, preserved natural environment and rich cultural and historical heritage, the Brčko District of BiH offers excellent opportunities for tourism development throughout the year. The Tourist Organization of the Brčko District of BiH operates through two functional sectors, each with clearly defined responsibilities and tasks within the overall activities of the organization. The Tourism Development and Promotion Sector is responsible for planning and implementing activities aimed at improving the tourism offer and strengthening the recognition of Brčko as an attractive destination. As part of its responsibilities, the sector develops and implements the annual work programme, promotes the District’s tourism potential at fairs and other promotional events, initiates and supports the organization of various events, develops specialized tourism programmes and routes, and actively participates in establishing cooperation with tourism organizations and institutions both in the country and abroad. The Finance and Administrative Affairs Sector carries out tasks related to financial planning, budget implementation, accounting, administration and legal affairs. This sector prepares and monitors the implementation of the Financial Plan and the Public Procurement Plan, maintains official records, prepares financial and narrative reports, conducts public procurement procedures, and provides legal and administrative support to all activities of the organization. Its work ensures legality, efficiency and transparency in the functioning of the Tourist Organization. Through the coordinated work of these two sectors, the stable and sustainable development of tourism in the Brčko District is ensured, with a focus on professional management, promotion and the creation of a recognizable tourist destination.
