Ethno House Ražljevo

The ethnic house is located in the village of Ražljevo. It was built in 2004. years. The house is a typical Podmajevic Serbian house with dimensions of 12.00 x 7.00 meters. It was built in the 1930s. century. The house has mostly preserved its original appearance and construction. The windows and doors, the wooden structure, the floor in the great room, the ceiling structure, the hipped roof covered with biber tiles and two chimneys have been preserved. In addition to the central part called the house, there are also two rooms, the right and left room. Changes were made to the addition of the porch and exterior parts of the shuttered windows. The house is placed on oak beams that are raised on low stone walls.

The house houses various ethnographic items collected in the households of Ražljev and neighboring villages. The house in Ražljevo serves as an object where visitors can learn about the former way of life in this area as well as the way of making objects that were used in the past. The house is used for the exhibition of handicrafts and for various cultural events.
