World Tourism Day in the Spirit of Story, Wine, Art, and Togetherness
Under the slogan “Through the Region by Wine – Through Brčko by Story”, the Tourist Organization of Brčko District BiH marked World Tourism Day in the authentic setting of the Pajić Winery in Bukvik.
The event gathered numerous guests and was enriched with art, music, words, and flavors — representing a perfect blend of cultural, touristic, and social identity of the region.
The musical part of the program was performed by students of the Brčko Music School – Marija Ružičić, Nikola Šiforija, and Professor Jakša Perović, whose performances created a special atmosphere and added elegance to the evening.
In the artistic segment of the event, artist Vanja Stevanović contributed to the ambiance with her painting expression, bringing a touch of authenticity and inspiration to the evening.
A special part of the program was the panel discussion, moderated by Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Đurić, with participation from:
- Robert Širnik, Director of the Mediterranean Institute for Monitoring,
- Irena Kisić, representative of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Srpska,
- prof. dr sc. Merima Aljić, Advisor at the Tourist Board of Tuzla Canton,
- Nikola Prkačin, Director of the Tourist Board of Neum.
The panel addressed important topics such as regional cooperation, sustainable tourism development, and better utilization of cultural and natural potentials.
The event concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere with wine tasting and local products, where guests had the opportunity to connect and enjoy the richness the region has to offer.
The Tourist Organization of Brčko District BiH expresses gratitude to all participants, panelists, and artists whose contributions enriched the program, as well as to everyone who was part of this inspiring evening.
