Pedestrian Zone
The pedestrian zone of Brčko is located in the very centre of the city and represents one of its most vibrant and frequently visited areas. It connects several key points in the city, stretching from the Central Bank, across Youth Square, along Konačko Brdo, all the way to the Brka River. On one side, the promenade is paved and arranged in a modern way, with benches, greenery and decorative plants.
On the other side, along the promenade, visitors can see some of the most beautiful buildings dating back to the Austro-Hungarian period and the first half of the 20th century, making this pedestrian area a unique blend of modern lifestyle and a historical setting rich in cultural and architectural heritage.
The promenade is lined with cafés, small shops and boutiques, creating a pleasant and lively atmosphere. In addition to being a place for rest and relaxation, it also hosts various concerts, cultural and entertainment events, fairs and exhibitions. In every sense, the pedestrian zone represents the heart of the city’s urban life, bringing together social activities, culture and nature into one harmonious whole.
