Arizona Market

Arizona Market is located in the Dubrave area, along the Orašje–Tuzla road. Its history dates back to the end of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement in 1995, when it became known as the “Arizona Corridor.” In 2001, the Government of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina decided to build a new market and announced an international tender for the selection of contractors. The construction was completed in 2004, when the new market was officially opened. The total built area covers approximately 40,000 square metres. Over time, the market has developed into a well-established trading hub, where people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Hungary come to buy and sell goods. More than 2,000 business units operate within “Arizona”, while an estimated 5,000 to 6,000 visitors come to the market each day. Arizona Market is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
