Participation at the 12th International Tourism Fair in Zagreb

The Tourist Organization of the Brčko District of BiH participated in the 12th International Tourism Fair PLACE2GO, held from March 28 to 30 at the Zagreb Fair. This year, the fair hosted over 200 exhibitors from various countries, including Algeria, India, Italy, Germany, and many others, making it the most significant event of its kind in Croatia. The fair was organized in two parts: B2B, intended for business meetings, and the B2C segment, which was open to all visitors during the three-day event.

During the B2B meetings, on behalf of the Tourist Organization of the Brčko District of BiH, Director Ivana Damjanović signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Acting Director of the Tourist Board of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Anđelko Maslać. The memorandum outlines plans to strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism, encourage tourist arrivals, exchange information, and jointly promote tourist destinations.

This prestigious event provided us with the opportunity to present the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and tourism potential of the Brčko District of BiH, as well as to establish contacts with relevant organizations and institutions from across the European Union.
