Mountaineering Society “Njivce” was founded in 2013. with headquarters in Bijela, Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It brings together the youth of this part of the District with the desire to preserve awareness of the protection of the natural beauty of the Majevica mountain.
The company offers the following contents:
- four marked hiking trails from easy to medium difficulty, which are also intended for mountain biking;
- visits to numerous caves and clean mountain springs;
- children’s playroom;
- sports fields (volleyball, indoor soccer);
- a visit to the Gradaščević Tower built at the end of the 18th century. century;
- a visit to the gallery of the Franciscan monastery in Dubrava;
- a visit to the archaeological site of Zidina in Gornja Skakava.
We currently have the option of privately managed accommodation, and the following are among the facilities owned by the company:
- The mountain shelter is called “Blue Beauty”;
- Mountain lodge “Casper” which is under construction.
In the immediate vicinity there are restaurants with traditional specialties, as well as the famous Arizona Market with numerous contents.
