The monument to Dobra Jovanović is located at the entrance to the city park in Brčko. Regardless of the fact that it was named after a Thessaloniki volunteer, the monument is a symbol of suffering, struggle and striving for freedom in the First World War, regardless of religion and nationality.

According to some sources, the monument was placed on the spot where the defenders of Brčko were killed on two occasions during the Austro-Hungarian occupation.
