Monument to the civilian victims of the war for the period 1939-1945. and 1992-1995. it opened in 2023. years. The monument represents another step forward in tolerance and the building of true coexistence among the residents of the District, and reminds of the horrors of war and all the innocent victims, with the message that such evil should never happen again.

The tears that this monument is associated with have the deepest symbolism because, like cries and cries, they illustrate human suffering. As always in wars, so in this one the helpless died, among them women, children and the elderly, without any guilt. The only reason for suffering was belonging to this or that nation.

This monument was planned by order of Supervisor Gregorian because Brčko represents a true symbol of reconciliation, agreement and coexistence in the spirit of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Final Arbitration Decision.
